Now available for small, DIY weddings!!
Hololio Farm is a historic 200 acre farm on the Wairoa river in Clevedon. We run sheep all year, and the Hololio Polo Club in summer. Hololio has 7km of river edge and three polo fields, two exercise tracks, a woolshed and yards.
Nick has lived at Hololio since 1981, having bought it from the original settler family, the Munros. He and Josephine married in 2001 and they have lived in the cottage adjacent to Hololio House since then.
The Hololio Polo Club runs from November to April. It is managed by Nick's son Henry Jones, a four goal professional player. Three of Nick and Josephine's children play, together with club members who bring their horses in to practise three or four times a week in summer.
Nick and Josephine have undertaken an extensive 20 year planting programme, in conjunction with the development of walking trails along the Wairoa River. All guests are welcome to walk the trails. Trees and Trails tours are available by arrangement.
The Hololio Poolhouse is available to guests for daytime parties. It is ideal for relaxed day-after gatherings of family and friends. See https://www.airbnb.co.nz/rooms/3796856
Hololio House, the Hololio Poolhouse, the historic woolshed, the historic barn, and the polo fields are available for film locations and photography. Please enquire direct to Josephine.
